Leaving the care of their child in the hands of a stranger is a daunting and nerve-wracking experience for many parents. They need to be reassured that they are leaving their children in the hands of someone who not only loves what they do, but who also has the professional skills to handle a major responsibility. This makes nannies that are educated in childcare and development, up-to-date on safety measures, hardworking, caring, personable, and who truly love children a precious find.

Individuals who wish to pursue a career in childcare need to possess the right skills and personality profile, including a good work ethic, strong people skills, a diligent approach to tasks and duties, and a healthy mindset. Parents are also more likely to choose nannies whose values on childcare match their own. This test will provide insight into the candidate’s strengths and assets as a nanny, and highlight areas where s/he may need to develop and improve in order to be the best nanny possible.
