2,999.00

Purpose: CAT – R will assess how well a person concentrates on a task and whether he or she has a well-developed repertoire of strategies to help him / her focus.

Description

The degree to which we are able to concentrate can often be directly linked to the degree to which we are motivated.

We all have the ability to focus – when we want to. Although we can’t force ourselves to love the things that bore us, we can learn to employ different techniques for improving our concentration skills.

There are various factors that can affect a person’s ability to concentrate, including fatigue, a noisy environment, too much caffeine, hunger and stress. Not only can they cause a person to be more prone to distraction, but they also make it difficult to maintain concentration on a task for an extended period of time. Although the ability to tune out interruptions takes a lot of skill and self-discipline, with enough practice and motivation it can become second nature.

The goal of the Concentration Test is to determine the degree to which a candidate is able to concentrate despite distractions and whether or not he / she actively employs various strategies to stay focused on a task. They will also be provided with helpful advice on how to enhance their concentration skills and keep their head out of the clouds.

Purpose: CAT – R will assess how well a person concentrates on a task and whether he or she has a well-developed repertoire of strategies to help him / her focus.
