ATS – R (Assessment of Transferable Skills – Revised)

2,999.00

Purpose: This test will evaluate specific competencies and skills that can transfer quite easily from school to the work world, and from one job to another.

Description

Working as a programmer, police officer, pilot, or daycare worker requires a certain set of specialized skills. Granted, a programmer would probably have to undergo courses and training in order to become a police officer, but that doesn’t mean that all the skills the programmer has learned are of no use. There are specific competencies that are an asset in almost any field, known as “transferable skills.” So if a student is looking for a full-time job, those years of volunteering, participating in school clubs, playing sports, or working part-time have allowed him or her to pick up important skills such as time management, stress management, and trainability. If a person is a stay-at-home parent who is now seeking employment or if he or she is returning to the workforce in a new position or field, having key transferable skills such as attention to detail, the ability to work on a team, and resourcefulness will not only look good on his or her résumé, they are likely to come in quite handy in a new job.

Purpose: This test will evaluate specific competencies and skills that can transfer quite easily from school to the work world, and from one job to another.
